The Local Rule Shibuya shorts are designed with technical cotton-elastan twill fabric.

These shorts sit at a regular waist and feature a comfortable wide leg for ease of movement and a relaxed look. The zip and slide-in snap button front closure ensure a secure fit.

They also include slanted side pockets, a smaller ball marker pocket, and two back pockets for convenience.

The model is 189 cm (6 feet, 2 inches) and wears size M. Please do the fit test above to find your optimal size.

Shibuya or not Shibuya – that's the question

After having previously bought the same model shorts a few years back, I was very excited fora couple of new pairs (one white and one blue). My previous pair quickly became a favorite that I used very often, but the new pairs didn't quite meet the expectations. To start, the material was different. And secondly, the button had changed to something way less functional and that feels like it will break any minute. Also, the fit between the two new shorts are not the same, even though they are both Shibuya. I still like both pairs a lot, but the quality that this time made me return to Local Rule is no longer there, which is a petty and also make me unsure to weather I will come back in the future.
Would love a response and also would be happy to give you more feedback if wanted.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We're sorry to hear that the new shorts didn't meet your expectations, and we really appreciate your insights on both the material and the fit.

We did change the fabric after experiencing potential tearing issues with the previous composition. We also updated the closure, replacing the snap button with a hook-and-bar fastening. We believe these changes have improved the product, but it's always valuable to hear honest feedback from our customers, as it helps us continue to improve.
