At Local Rule, we’ve always believed in doing things the right way—thoughtfully, sustainably, and with purpose. That’s why we’re proud to announce a new chapter in our journey: we’ve officially started producing clothing here in Sweden.
This move isn’t just about geography—it’s about values. It’s about reconnecting with our roots and bringing the "local" in Local Rule to life in a more tangible way.
Our first Swedish-made garment? The Performance Shorts, designed for summer rounds and everyday movement, now proudly produced in Borås—a city renowned for its rich textile heritage and high-quality craftsmanship. Built from a lightweight ripstop nylon/elastane blend, these shorts are engineered for comfort, mobility, and style—on and off the course.
But that’s not all. We’re also proud to say that our socks are now produced in Sweden as well. By keeping production close to home, we ensure better quality control, more responsible sourcing, and a significantly smaller environmental footprint.
Why Sweden? Because quality matters. Because transparency matters. Because we believe in investing in the communities that shaped us. Producing locally allows us to stay connected to every step of the process—and bring you gear that reflects the best of Scandinavian design and function.
This is just the beginning. As we continue to grow, we’re committed to expanding our local production and building a more sustainable future for golf and beyond.
Thanks for being part of the journey.
